Quote Project
Prompt: Create a quote graphic using only one color.
This one color is allowed to be manipulated to your fullest creative ability, and the graphic should compliment the quote chosen for the project.
Solution: Use shaping tactics and brighter shades to emphasize the quote.
After picking a personal favorite quote, I chose red to compliment it’s themes of love. I then chose to harness the limitations of the graphic by playing with the scale to emphasize certain words. In regard to the one color dilemma, I stretched it in multiple ways and chose different shades of red to highlight different words, both done in an effort to change the overall meaning of the quote, if not to put a focus on its themes.
