Savannah, GA Destination Website
Prompt: Create a travel destination website, including photos and possible activities.
This project puts the focus on marketing a tourist location through a graphically appealing website. The destination and methods were left to my creative devices.
Solution: Using simplicity and personable details to market Savannah, Georgia
I personally love the city of Savannah, and I felt obligated to do it justice with the use of my website for this project. I used a simple layout to get info across, while also using a hero lockup to gain attention. One of Savannah’s more notable features is it’s use of vegetation, particularly willow trees. I used this icon to focus on a motif of Spanish moss and utilizing “peachy” colors to compliment this.
